1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum

This 1970 Dodge Charger named Tantrum is a masterpiece made by the crafty hands of the specialists at SpeedKore Performance! This is the same team that was responsible for the awesome 1970 Plymouth Barracuda featured in the Furious 7 movie. While it still looks like a classic muscle car, the front end now features a carbon fiber hood and fenders. Underneath the lightweight parts, there’s a twin-turbo, 9.0-liter Mercury Marine offshore boat racing engine with an astonishing 1,650 horsepower, or an only slightly less asinine 1,350 hp on pump gas.

The Tantrum’s smoothed, lowered body shows off various custom-built components – including the mirrors, door handles, and fuel-filler cap – while an all-new carbon fiber front-end and glossy paint-job add to the power of attraction of this supercar. The intricate grille has been milled from a single block of aluminum and houses LED headlamps, while the rear features some 2014 Dodge Challenger taillamps, partly covered by a trim panel emblazoned with the car’s name, Tantrum.

It was featured in one of Jay Leno’s episodes and we can tell that he is very intrigued by the Charger, so he puts it on the lift to take a look at the underside. Check out Jay Leno and Tantrum in action!
