2016 Ford Focus RS comes with a Drift Mode!
2016 Ford Focus RS – a true all-around car.
Let’s start with the design; the look is pretty awesome, straightforwards and anything but overdone. Nothing is extra on the new Focus; no scoops, extra grille openings, pseudo aero devices, flaps and as we can see, everything is functional.
The RS shape took a lot of time and effort on a computer – 2,000+ hours. However, this car is one of the few of the road that offers true zero lift on both rear and front axles. The effort has paid off.
2016 Ford Focus RS comes with a drift mode
The 2016 Ford Focus RS has a 2.3-liter turbocharged four under the hood, found in a Mustang. Nevertheless, compared to the Mustang, this twin-scroll single turbo is larger and lighter and the intercooler is bigger. Thus, this one produces 350 HP and 350 lb-ft of torque. That means 62 mph in 4.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 165 mph.
While we can go on and on about the new 2016 Ford Focus RS, we reckon it’s best to point out the one thing tha other hot hatchbacks just don’t have- a mode that lets it drift on command. Check the new 2016 Ford Focus video below!
