2016 Yamaha MT-10 : The stripped down R1 superbike with class

The brand new MT-1o is an extension of the line MT/FZ models and Yamaha tends to call it ‘the next level’. Essentially, it is a stripped-down 2015 YZF-R1 superbike that powered by a re-worked crossplane 998cc inline 4-cylinder of massive power. Instead of titanium the engine gets steel and it’s a true piece of art. It all makes for one very attractive bike with quite the functional design concept and aggressive style. In addition, this thing is good both on the open road and in town.

Actually, there is no other way to put it: this model looks like a robotic alien bug that came from the future. That is like hitting the holy grail when it comes to street motorcycle design. Not handling accordingly just isn’t an option with such looks.

Nevertheless, judging from past experiences, the 2016 Yamaha MT-10 should prove to be full of character and not the mother-in-law type. After all, it resembles a huge amount of power. The new 2016 Yamaha MT-10 also gets some of its sibling’s electronic aids like a slipper clutch, 3-stage traction control system and 3-riding modes. That makes an excellent quality and can come in handy for those with not that much riding experience.

When tearing up a twisty back road the shorter wheelbase will prove useful (55.1 inches) and when it comes to long-distance travels then, the Yamaha MT-10 ‘s cruise control will make the rider’s life much easier. In addition, the suspension with some revised settings will add to the handling abilities.

The availability of the brand new 2016 Yamaha MT-10 in the US is still unknown but, it’s hard to imagine why Yamaha would keep something like this away from such an immense market. A 2016 Yamaha MT-10 owner will start saving as soon as s/he lays eyes on the new model, while asking about buy-back options and everything it takes to get on the Ray of Darkness. 2016 Yamaha MT-10 video below!
