1965 Chevrolet Corvette1965 Chevrolet Corvette C2 widebody track car! This car is a property of Greg Thurmond and it was built by him and his crew at GTS Customs. It started as an old flared out drag car shell, but Greg and the crew at GTS Customs turned it into this pro-touring work of art that was on display in the K&N booth, at the 2015 SEMA Show. It’s powered by a Lingenfelter LS7 engine and rides on RideTech suspension, Wilwood disc brakes, and Falken Azenis tires on Forgeline DE3C Concave wheels finished with Black Chrome PVD centers and Brushed outers.

GTS Customs was founded by Greg Thurmond in 1987. Greg and his shop have experience with all kinds, and all levels, of automotive repair and restoration. However, Greg’s personal passion for the Chevrolet Corvette has earned him a reputation among Corvette enthusiasts. Greg said his passion for Corvettes goes back to his childhood where there was always a Corvette in the garage. One of Greg Thurmond’s first paint jobs, at the ripe old age of 15 years old, was on his father’s 1963 Corvette convertible. This same Corvette went on to win numerous shows and awards. Check out this Chevrolet Corvette C2 “Scar”, a work of art!
