Russian street drifting on snow with a Supra that has 2UZ-FE engine!

This Russian group of guys known as “Gohard life” on social media are not too fond of the Police and vise versa. They have a unique lifestyle, they only come out at night to do illegal Russian street drifting! Sometimes watching these folks, running on limited budget just having some fun is enough to get the blood pumping.

The Supra you see in the video is powered by a 2UZ-FE engine. Toyota UZ engine family is a 32-valve quad-camshaft V8 piston engine series used in Toyota’s luxury offerings and sport utility vehicles. The 2UZ-FE was a 4.7 L version built in Tahara, Aichi, Japan and at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama.

Unlike its other UZ counterparts, this version uses a cast iron block to increase durability, as it was designed for low-revving, high-torque pickup and SUV applications. Output varies by implementation, but one VVT-i variant produces 271HP at 4800 rpm with 315 lb ft of torque at 3400 rpm. JDM versions produce 232 hp at 4800 rpm and 311 lb ft at 3600 rpm, while Australian models produce 230 hp at 4800 rpm and 300 lb ft at 3600 rpm.

Like the 1UZ-FE it has aluminum DOHC cylinder heads, MFI fuel injection, 4 valves per cylinder with bucket tappets, one-piece cast camshafts, and a cast aluminum intake manifold. Check out this awesome video of these skilled amateur drifters! How do you like the Russian street drifting scene?
