Take an in-depth look at the 1970 LT4 powered Camaro Concept unveiled at the 2015 SEMA Show. Chevrolet brought its new LT4 crate engine to SEMA in a wrapper that muscle cars fans should find appealing.

The supercharged 6.2-Litre V8 produces 650hp and 650lb.ft of torque and is offered both in dry-sump and wet-sump versions, giving builders the flexibility needed for their projects.

This restomodded Camaro is using the wet-sump version as well as an air-conditioning system and modern suspension components. The chassis overhaul includes a new independent front suspension, a rack-and-pinion steering system and a rear four-link suspension setup with coil-overs all-around. A T-56 Super Magnum six-speed manual gearbox is bolted on the LT4 engine.

This classic Camaro wears 19-inch polished aluminum wheels which hide a set of modern ZO6 brakes. A set of LED headlamps and tail lights complete the exterior while the cabin features custom-trimmed seats from a third-generation Camaro and custom gauges under a leather-trimmed panel that work with the modern powertrain. There is also a six-point roll cage for added protection.
