Chevrolet revealed the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado  at the 2014 SEMA show and it is supposed to go on sale this fall. If not, we’ll definitely see it hitting the off-road in 2017. You can see this truck as a form of Silverado with some of the functionality and features of the Suburban SUV.  Nevertheless, the company is offering this High Country package on LTZ, LT and High country trim levels. Thus, the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado gets new features including a waterproof cargo system. But, do we really need much waterproofing in the desert? Probably not.

2017 Chevrolet SilveradoThe new system on the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Package is installed over the bed and of course, it is lockable. In addition, it adds a three-piece tonneau cover and dual side storage bins. So, it doesn’t only keep the cargo safe, but also provides an ample amount of organization.Worried about securing the small items? The folks at Chevy thought of that too. With the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado you’ll get a divider as part of the package.

On the LT trim, the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado High Desert package features 20-inch wheels. On the LTZ and High Country you’ll get all-terrain tires or 22s. Totally your choice! And while we’re at making choices, we should probably say a thing or two about the offered engines. On the LT, you’ll get a 4.3-liter V6 as standard. Chevy offer a 6.2-liter V8 as an option on High Country trims and on LTZ, while the 5.3-liter V8 as standard on the LTZ.

Also, the company offers Magnetic Ride Control suspension on the High Desert package. According to Chevrolet, it delivers more precise body motion control. Check out its exterior, interior and a test drive!
