1937 Bugatti Atalante

A rare 1937 Bugatti Atalante 57S unveiled after 50 years of lock down! The Bugatti 57S Atalante is one of the rarest French sports coupes built by the Bugatti company. Only 43 were Type 57S and only 17 of those were produced with the in-house Bugatti Atalante coupe coachwork, out of 710 type 57!

This classic car gathered dust in a garage for almost 50 years. Harold Carr refused to listen to the offers for this 1937 Bugatti so, he locked it away. The first owner of the car was the first president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club. When Dr Carr died he left the contents of the lock – up garage to his family.

The Bugatti 57S is a highly appreciated and required by collectors. It has been fully restored. It made an appearance at the Goodwood “Festival of Speed” in 2009.

Check out this rare beauty!
