Ford Vignale is the 2017 Europe-only top-spec SUV

Ford VignaleFord Vignale is the new 2017 Ford SUV that everyone are expecting a lot from. It’s the first SUV nameplate of the company that is to joint the premium European “Vignale” and it has been renamed. You’re looking at the Ford Edge but, we’ll call him Ford Vignale to avoid any confusion.

The 2017 Ford Vignale was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The Ford Vignale, as we previously mentioned, represents Ford’s first foray into Europe’s luxurious SUV market. As such, it is quite distinguishable from the other Edge models. The first thing we’ve noticed is the signature hexagonal upper grill with a polished aluminum surround, finished in matte black. In addition, the Vignale features fog lamps with a sharp-looking chrome finish. Futhermore, it rides on special 19-inch aluminum wheels. The Ford Vignale is not meant for the faint of heart. The automaker won’t disappoint anyone with their 2017 model, especially not in these circumstances.

Ford VignaleWhen it comes to the interior, there is a lot to be seen in the Ford Vignale. The story gets even more compelling with hexagonal-quilted Windsor leather seats. They can be finished either in Dark Ebony or light Cashmere – the choice is all yours. The Dark Ebony choice also extends forth to the instrumental panel and envelopes the central armrest up front.
For the 2017 Ford Vignale, available is only the AWD.

However, you do get a say in the engine choice. You can choose between a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Duratorq turbo and the same twin-turbo engine. The first one puts out 178 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. The latter one produces 207 Hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. Nevertheless, we have to mention that when it comes to the powerplant, Ford is still keeping some details to themselves. Though, those are probably the engine choices we’ll get. The turbo engine will have a 6-speed manual transmission and the twin-turbo will comes with a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission.

The automaker will announce pricing for the Ford Edge sometime later this year. Check it out!
