Is a carbon fiber drive shaft stronger that a steel drive shaft?

Nowadays, most of the vehicles are equipped with a steel drive shaft and generally, many components on cars are made of the well-know good old steel.  Steel isn’t only affordable; this material is strong enough to handle most reasonable applications.  Key word-most. Steel also has a negative side to it. It tends to twists when you’re making a good amount of power and it’s the heavy one.

This is where carbon fiber comes in. It is expensive but, it tends to be lighter and stronger. In the video below you’ll see a test that tries to tell us which one of the two is stronger. What do you think?
