Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Concept is here and it’s awesome!!
The Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Concept is here and it’s awesome!! To anyone who’s ever said “Hellcat everything!” you’ve officially been warned to be careful what you wish for. This fierce bastard is basically just your regular old Jeep Wrangler, with the Hellcat’s 707 HP 6.2-liter Hemi V8! The engine has been mated to a six-speed manual gearbox activated by a big black shifter ball with an embossed Hellcat logo on it.
The Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Concept!!
The Jeep Wrangler Trailcat Concept is one of the seven off-road concepts that Jeep was going to bring to the 50th Annual Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The rest of the Jeep concepts are also very exciting, including the ruggedly retro Crew Chief 715, the even more retro Jeep FC 150, and the pickup Renegade called the Comanche. A special edition Renegade Commander, a CJ-5 based Wrangler called the Shortcut, and the camouflaged Jeep Trailstorm also grace the Safari collection! All of them offer refreshing takes on Jeeps of yesterday or add off-roading prowess and some nice finishing aesthetic touches.
This one has been stretched 12″ inches, presumably to keep it from flipping for at least a few seconds longer, with 39.5-inch BF-Goodrich Krawler T/A KX tires wrapped around 17″ beadlock wheels and heavy-ass Dana 60 axles front and rear. Suspension is all Fox. And the sound is very unique, listen to this jungle beast roar!
