Meet the very first Lamborghini Murcielago drift car in the world!

Sponsored by Monster Energy, the Japanese drift driver Daigo Saito, has finally unveiled the first Lamborghini Murcielago drift car to the world. The Liberty Walk team in Japan also contributed to the making of the car and all in all, it took everyone over 7 months to make it perfect.

But, don’t think for a second that this is only a road-going Murcielago with a RWD setup. At first, it was completely dissembled and only the chassis and the bodywork were left. Then, braking and suspension components were installed and the 6.2-litre V12 got upgrade lifting power to 650 horsepower.

The car now features flared wheel arches, massive rear wing and the matte black Monster Energy livery with green wheels. The competitive debut will be celebrated at the D1GP Tokyo Drift event on October 24 and 25. Now check it out!
