What Is Solar Panel And How Does a Solar Panel Works!?

How Solar Panel WorksHow Solar Panel Works

We use electricity in our life every day, for tv’s, computers, heat, lamps a plenty of other stuff. This is where the solar panels comes in handy. Solar panel refers to a panel designed to absorb the sun’s rays as a source of energy for generating electricity or heating.

What Is Solar Panel And How Does a Solar Panel Works!?

Although solar is becoming more popular everyday people still don’t know how solar panels work. First the light hits the solar panels with photons (particles of sunlight). Then the panel converts those photons into electrons of direct current electricity. Those produced electrons flow out of the panel and into an inverter and other electrical safety devices. The inverter then converts that “DC” power into alternating current or “AC” power. AC power is the kind of electricity that powers your television, computer, toasters ect.

A bi-directional meter keeps track of the all the power your solar system produces, and any solar energy that you don’t use immediately will go back into the grid through the meter. Naturally, the sunnier it is, the more energy is produced by the panels.
