Team DMNZ strikes again at 2016 New Zealand drift championship!

With its main focus from its inception in 2007 being about the driver, DMNZ has stayed true to its roots and provides drivers with maximum track time and the highest quality drift training days in New Zealand. Drift days are currently held throughout the north island on a monthly basis, where newcomers, photographers and spectators are welcomed.

The DMNZ team developed D-School in 2011 as a way to further bridge the gap between dreams and driving. D-School offers one on one training, comprising of both theory and practical lessons, where you can bring your own car, or make use of the DMNZ dedicated D-School whip. The team at DMNZ have over 25 years of drift experience.

Back in early 2003 drifting in New Zealand was just emerging from the underground into the world of motorsport. Several drifting teams from all over New Zealand came together to organize and regulate Drifting events nationwide. They were developing competition events on race circuits and bringing drifting off the back-streets.

And so, the Drift Club of New Zealand was born! Its mission was to promote and educate New Zealand Drift Motorsport in a safe environment. D1NZ has taken the lead in this unique automotive culture, with drifting recognized as the fastest growing motor sports category in the world.

The Series has produced world-class competition with many of New Zealand’s top drivers representing the country overseas with podium finishes in Australia, Japan, The USA, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China and Europe.
