Tesla Model X – The first electric SUV was finally unveiled!
Tesla Model X – With one super cool mission, to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable transport, Elon Musk and Tesla Motors took the world by storm for the past few years. Tesla Model X has been long awaited now, due to some delays, but on September 29th, it was finally unveiled in front of media and some lucky audience!
The first priority of the Model Tesla X is safety. The floor-mounted battery lowers the center of gravity so that the risk of rollover is about half that of any vehicle in its class. The battery structure strengthens Tesla Model X against side impact intrusions. And without a gasoline engine, the large front trunk acts as a giant impact-absorbing crumple zone.
Tesla Motors and Musk set a new bar in luxury vehicles with the world’s first true all-electric SUV. The car maintains all of the premiums of Tesla’s iconic Tesla Model X sedan, but can also pin the family’s heads back at zero to 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds or tow a 5,000 lbs. boat.

Tesla Model X continually scans the surrounding roadway with camera, radar and sonar systems, providing the driver with real-time feedback to help avoid collisions. Even at highway speeds, Tesla Model X is designed to automatically apply brakes in an emergency.
The side hung “falcon” doors were originally designed with Mercedes SL 300 gull-wing style doors, but the problem was that they needed lots of set-back to open, so making a door that articulates and folds upward was the logical solution. With the use of proximity sensors, the doors only need 12 inches of clearance to open. Find out more from the unveiling video – Model X the first electric SUV was finally unveiled! Enjoy
