The most FAMOUS Muscle That Everyone Wants To Drive: 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS from “Fast & Furious 4”!
Back in the days when the “Fast & Furious 4” was shown for the first time, this 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS was the very first thing that caught everyone’s eye, mostly because many expected to see Dom Toretto again in his 1970 Dodge Charger. So, today we will introduce to you the 1970 Chevelle SS from the “Fast & Furious 4″ movie with a video that contains some interesting facts. Unlike the red version of the car, this version of the A-body is overpowered and ready for battle.
In reality, the Fast & Furious picture car department didn’t touch the two cars playing Toretto’s red Chevelle but built 6 Chevelles to portray the street racer including one without an engine. The one in the video below was built specifically to wheelstand. It is interesting that the front end was lightened and a GM 502-cubic inch big-block V8 was installed. Atop all that, a steel tray out was added behind the rear bumper and filled it with about 700 pounds of lead weight.
One car was destroyed on a jump and three of the cars were damaged, but one survives intact. The four survivors are in storage.
