Wesll Leaning Vehicle allows 55+ degrees of lean angle on all 4 wheels

Wesll Leaning Vehicle

Wesll Leaning Vehicle is a vehicle that features a peculiar suspension. This suspension allows it to lean angles like nothing we’ve seen so far.

We’ve seen tilting 3-wheelers and a lot of them. They are becoming old hats. After Piaggio introduces the MP3, there was a lot of attention and activity related to the technology. Now, both homebuilders and manufacturers are making and building their own versions. In addition, it seems that they are even ready to be on the market.

Thus, Wesll Leaning Vehicle features a 4-wheel tilting wheel mechanism. This can replace the usual non-tilting suspension. Of course, tilting 4 wheels isn’t anything new. The Chrysler Tomahawk concept features closely spaced wheels with tilt, expect that the amount of tilt is small. Yamaha also had a concept called Tesseract that was a tilting 4 wheeler. Nevertheless, the concept remained concepts.

The builer of the Wesll Leaning Vehicle actually started working on the idea when his brother was injured in an accident. After some work, he came up with a configuration where the whole leaning mechanism was placed outboard. Then, he did some more work until he decided that it worked perfectly.

You can see the Wesll Leaning Vehicle in action in the video below and see how the suspension works. It’s not limited and the rider of the Wesll Leaning Vehicle can do some serious corner carving with it.

The one thing that the builder was really clear on what that this mechanism is available as a kit. There are some procedures  that have to be taken care of before the Wesll Leaning Vehicle reaches it peak. Nevertheless, it doesn’t defy the fact that it is an impeccable design. Check it out and see if you like it!
