Check out Willie Taitano’s 1961 Cadillac DeVille called Mary Jane! I get it, this is not the first car that comes on your mind when you mention race cars, or even a touring car, but this particular Caddie might just surprise you. For those of you who are not familiar with Willie Taitano, he is the founder of Pineapple Rods & Kustoms, chop shop located in Santa Clara, California. He has been running the place and has been building hot rods for thirty years.

Willie Taitano’s 1961 Cadillac DeVille called Mary Jane!

This daily driven car has been chopped up and renovated to the point where it is the center of attention anywhere that it goes, and for good reason! Willie has added features such as a 1971 Cadillac 472 cu.in. engine, Cadillac Turbo 400 automatic transmission, custom 3″ lowered front coil springs, a traditional custom tuck and roll upholstered interior by Premier Auto Tops & Interiors Santa Clara, Ca. and a modern state of the art CD stereo system.

The interior looks badass, it’s red imitation of alligator skin. “Mary-Jane” is a multi-time award winning ’61 Cadillac Custom that Willie fabricated using a mix of genuine vintage and many of the finest modern components available. “Mary-Jane” has been built to achieve the “Old School Custom” look. Watch Mike Musto take this beauty for a ride!
