Winged sprint cars with GoPro cameras at Eldora Speedway in Ohio!!

sprint!!!

This is an awesome video of winged sprint cars with GoPro cameras at Eldora Speedway in Ohio!! Sprint cars have a very high power-to-weight ratio, at a weight of approximately 1,400 pounds (640 kg) (including the driver)! Power outputs of 900 horsepower to 1,100 horsepower are commonplace for these machines, which is around 140-340 more horsepower than a 2014 Formula One engine. Typically they are powered by a naturally aspirated American V8 with an engine displacement of 410 cubic inches (6.7L) capable of engine speeds of 9000 rpm.

A couple of GoPro cameras are mounted to a sprint car and everyone are ready to roll. Many times, cars don’t look like they’re going fast on a video, even though they are. This time that’s different. The speed that was capture on those GoPro cameras is just stunning. Those sprint cars in the video weight 623 kilograms and can produce up to 950 HP. The engines are 6.7 liters V8s which are fuel injected and use methanol. When on the straightest part on the track, these amazing rides can reach speed of 305 km/h!!!
